Where go ?

ENGLISH

Less then 5 minutes by car you can find the most sightseen attraction after Rhodes City: the picturesque acropolis-topped village of Lindos, with its white cubic houses and typical narrow cobbled streets. Everyday many pullmans start from Rhodes city bringing a lot of people to visit Lindos, patronized as humanity heritage. It’s enough to say that many vip lived in this village (David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, B.B., Gregory Peck, Gianni Agnelli Fiat’s boss and many others).

There are about 900 people living in the village, most of them employed in touristic field. Someone rent donkeys as a means of transport bringing people to see the acropolis and temple of Athena.

There are cafeterias, restaurants, pubs and craftsmanship shops everywhere.

EPTA PIGES (Seven Springs)
– On the road Rhodes-Lindos at Kolimbia’s crossroad turn right. A Taverna under the trees. Springs, shade, cool, geese and peacocks.

PETALUDES - The famous valley of the butterflies

EMBONAS – The island wine-shop: there are cantinas, taverns and inns at every corner. Free tasting wines in the wine makers cooperative store in the entry of village

and

MESSAGRANOS – Typical inland Greek village. Reachable from Lahania (asphalted road) or
Arnithi (dirty road) the last one with wonderful panorama on both coastlines. There is only Mike’s Taverna, heartly welcome.

but if your holidays still is not ended..

What is better than one day by sea to the island of Symi ?
