In the early October, when in Europe and in the northern Greece it’s cold, in Rhodes is still summer and seawater is still warm. Sometime these conditions will go on for all autumn season. Winter is short but rainy, overall in January, when the most of year’s rain fall.

Usually on early February days, fields are green and flowers full and one can feel the first warmth spring. So Rhodes is agreeable for the most of the year.Every season will offer some different: from February to May a colour alternation, blue and red flowers and mimosa yellow woods paints the landscape.

Hot Rhodes’ summer is mitigate by Meltemi’s wind, a wind coming from North-East. Sometime it blows impetuous on North side coast’s island.

Generally Autumn is a slow summer’s grow weak, it offers tepidity days, so one will enjoy the real life after the touristic fun-fair.

Rhodes’ west coast, from Ixia, Paradissi as far as Prassonissi, sometime became very windy. It often happens that the sea turns rough and even if it shows a wonderful natural sight, is not an invitation to dive. The east coast instead, sheltered by the mountains is better for swimming, plenty of sandy or pebbled beaches, bays and inlets.
